and the 181.20s from the Cuda download site.

All fell within 500 ppd.
Have you tried bumping the core/mem to see if it helps...

Yeah, next step. No problem on the wc'ed 260, but a no-go on the stock 260s. Already running at 70C under load.

I'm glad mine don't run that hot, at 760/1998/1125 the hot card is topping out at 61* with a 384 WU...

Those 420's are great, drops the same card to ~56*. The bottom card stays at least 5* cooler than the top card with a slower fan speed, I wish I could get them both like that...

There is a 120mm fan sitting less than an inch from the end of the cards, not to mention the side 120 blows on them. My ambient is 3* warmer than usual today because of the warm weather so that's not helping. I will keep that in mind for those hot summer days tho...

I hope you can get your cards figured out, they are getting about the same numbers as my GTX+'s which is surprising

My 285 is getting 9549PPD on a 420 right now. Temps are low 60 C, with shaders at 1764.

However, up until now (the 1764 shader oc) this card has been very quiet, but every once in a while I can hear a small high pitched noise...I think the shaders can go higher but if the noise gets worse it might be the end of the OC on this card. I might adjust the core and mem a little to see if that helps.

Nice points, Folders have been complaining about that noise off and on since gpu Folding started.

I get the Folding Squeal every now and then also, still haven't narrowed down which card it is. As far as I know it's not harmful, and it does not bother me so I'm leaving it alone...
