Gens?

I read on FoldingForum that changing the priority from low to like normal has an effect on the PPD as well. I have yet to try these new WU simply because my -advmethods was set to off.

Gens as in Run-Clone-Gens, it's seems to make a difference but it's still early to tell for sure. Read a post about the priority thing, one of the posters had problems with that I think...

Folding rig has them, both 260s. ppd is ~6800. The i7 rig 260 is still on 511s.

Hmm...I installed the SMP client on my i7 last night but it's only getting about 55% CPU usage. I'll have to do some troubleshooting tonight.

You need dual SMP clients, because of the hyper-threading.

Ah...I thought that with the "-smp 8" tag I could get it use 8 cores. I'll have to set up a second one, then.

Hmmm...I did a search on i7 920 PPD and I got a thread where someone was supposedly getting 6k ppd out of their 920 using that switch.

I must not have read it right. It was late

Well, dual SMP Clients yield ~5200 ppd on my i7 920.
