My System Specs

Default OC GTX 280 for F@H

I've been wondering if anything is wrong with the way i oc'd my GPU for folding;

As Shaders do the work, i underclocked both the Core and Mem to the min, using Rivatuner, and oc'd the Shaders to the max. that gives me a stable machine:

Core: 310
Mem: 555
Shaders: 1585

Would it be better to leave the Core and Mem at stock speeds, and OC the shaders?

The reason i ask this is because, in Kakao Stats (http://kakaostats.com/t.php?col=11&t=54196), if i take "Points for 7 days" and divide it by 7, it gives me an avg. of 3800 PPD, which seems quite low, and makes me think i haven't done the OC the right way.

Yeah, try stock core/mem and max out your shader oc. Should be a good gain.

One reason your points average seems low is because you had 0 pts on the 13th Feb. and only 895 pts on the 14th which skews your average. Your ppd lately has actually been closer to ~5000ppd , while still a tad low , is much closer to what you should have.

i just did like Eldonko suggested, and soon after i saw - in FahSpy - the est. PPD go up from around 4000 to 5500; a good gain.

At the moment, clocks are: 615/1107/1580 (c/m/s)

Tks. LCB, i'll have to study those graphs as they seem very interesting.
