There really is no reason to change it from the default, frankly I've never seen its usage go above 500mb anyways. So, yes, 50GB, is a bit much, but it's not going to use that much even if you leave the limit that high, its fine either way. I'd ensure it has at least 5GB, and even that I'd say is overkill. Hope that helped.

Excellent guide Sir, very clear and informative for those new to the sport. One thing you might want to expand on is;

"First of all go to the Network Usage tab, and change the Additional work buffer to something larger, most of us here have it set to 3 or more days"

If the work buffer is set too high they need to ensure their computer can complete the stockpiled tasks before the deadlines expire. Those that don't leave their comp's on 24/7 or have older processors might not be able to meet those deadlines.

If you have the time perhaps you could develop a similiar guide for the F@H apps as you have an obvious talent for doing them...

Question about bandwidth usage.

How much does folding use up in a month?

It is set to unlimited but, usage isn't free or unlimited from ISP.

Don't know how to calculate and wouldn't want to go over

My mistake... it's more like around 300MB per day folding 24/7, but you should probably wait for more example to really conclude

Thats about the same as what I do/did back while I still had the cash to fold/crunch.
