Okay, I left the BOINC manager on the whole night, and then I'm in advanced view, and when I go to the Task tab, I see a bunch of projects. 1 is complete and the second is nearly done. The first one says "Ready to Report" as the status. Do I just leave it like that?

Yes, unless there is a problem with the BOINC servers, everything else is fully automated.

Once you've completed a WU your name should appear on the HWC team page Hardware Canucks Forum - Team Summary - EXTREME Overclocking Folding @ Home Stats. The stats are only updated every three hours so you might have to wait for the next update. And yes you can have your brothers PS3 folding under your name , just input the same folding name and Team # when you set it up...
Welcome to the Team...

Edit; Changed to the proper link.

Glad I could help. One word of caution, Folding and the associated statistics are known to be addictive to some individuals, there is no known cure available at this time...

With a 260GTX your better off running the GPU client, it will get you three times the points. You can get either the systray or console clients here Folding@home - DownloadWinOther. The systray is easier to use, the console client uses less resources and is supposed to be a little more stable. If you get the systray don't use the viewer as its still buggy and will slow down your system...
Once your happy with your CPU temps you can get the CPU SMP client from the same page...
If you decide to run both make sure to set the CPU priority at idle and the GPU a step higher to make sure the GPU dosn't starve...
