Bad news...

I tried to get a 9800 GT up folding with my GTX 285s and it's not happening. Getting
[21:45:28] Folding@home Core Shutdown: UNSTABLE_MACHINE

So it looks like if I want my 5-GPU monster, I'll have to grab a GTX 260.

Then it could be tri-sli i your main with the dual 285s and the 260, and both 9800s in the back up?

The backup only has one PCIE slot as it's a vanilla P5Q (couldn't complain since work paid for the mobo).

I'm stepping up to the 295s so that's 4 right there plus one 9800 in the backup and I think Nademon is interested in my 9800 GT

(It's funny how many HWC hands this card is going to pass through!)

Then a little further down the road I could add a 260 on my Classified and have 5 GPUs folding.

Actually my regular store restocked(every store too).......they were out for a couple mos.....Looks like they have about 20 of em in the MemX network.....

I have 6 more AGP rigs sitting here , not counting my 2 AGP borgs......Just need the PSU's and Cards....



Be interesting to see the PPD of this card.
