uhm, what? Rigs are workin fine.. it's just that the three SR2's are flushing around the same time - so it swings from 400k-650kPPD often.

I miss the less expensive days of folding, but when you have the itch, you have to scratch it.

Speaking of which I have some extra video cards laying around. I should install some XP on some spare hardware and run gpu's with the cpu in a VM. I've never tried it so it could be an interesting project for the weekend.

Make sure you adjust the priority correctly, and quite possibly the core affinity for gpu and cpu ppd efficiency.
