Something in the assignment servers might be going right. King Quad has been getting mostly 6903/6904's for the last week (6 in my completed que, a couple 6900's and a couple 2689's)

Lets say I want to fold just plain ol SMP on my 2600k. I tried using the V7 client but about 50% of the time it sends uni-processor units, which kills production. So I am either going w/ the older 6.34 console client or using VMWare. Is there a benefit from using the VMWare for just normal SMP work units?

There used to be a small increase in PPD using a vmware setup, but I still folded regular smp on Windows as it was easier to manage.

Currently trying out the 275.65 Telsa drivers. Seem to be getting about 1000 ppd lower on my GTX580.

Anyone have issues where when they pause/stop their GPU client, the card gets stuck in non-3d clocks? Everytime I want to play a game I need to reboot my system to get the clocks back to normal.

I've noticed this a lot with 4xx cards and drivers newer than 266. Older drivers don't seem to have this issue.

At least I know it just isn't my card. Hopefully it will be addressed in upcoming driver releases.

Yep, I have that problem also with my 560ti. If it finishes the WU, the clocks seem to be fine, but if you pause in the middle, it will be stuck.
