I just fired up another GTX 260 and a i5 750 @ 2.67GHz in the same PC, HFM.net is showing 4960 ppd on the i5 doing a 11020 Project with a TPF of 4:42
I know the i7's are great for ppd, I thought this i5 would do way better than my Q9550 @ 2.83GHz, Thats getting 4724ppd on a 6059 project with a TPF of 7:16.
Both pc's are running 1 GTX 260, Shader's at 1410, my Q9550's ppd just dropped to 3178ppd and 10:03 TPF, It usually gets between 3000-4000ppd so 5000ppd is really pushing it so 1000-2000ppd more is not to bad but I hope this i5 gets some better ppd wu's while I have it, Its not mine so I dont want to overclock it.
Got my 2 470's contributing (I hope) now, plugged em into a cpu/mobo combo I got off Eldonko to replace a dead mobo (the first mobo I folded for HWC with) One card did 775mhz on stock voltage (607 stock) while the other needed a bump to do 760. So for now its 750 and a tiny voltage bump until I look into how much V they can take safely. Then it'll be back to guess and test to get the best OC.
Right now they're doing 14.8kppd each wich equals my 4x9800GX2 rig for a lot less wattage, might have to take the Octo-gpu box offline for the summer, it just gets too darn warm. Plus I havent even tried to OC the i7-860 the 470's are cohabitating with, need me a stick of 1600 ddr3.
And looking at the Team ppd avg list, seems like Xeven is on his way back up.... sigh :(
