Gaming is putting a pinch on my folding today. I hit the breaking point yesterday with those NANS detected on GPU. The Stanford forums was zero help so I completely tore down my rig, switched the pcie power cables and cleaned every fan and grill in my case. Completely wiped my HD and stepped up to Vista 64bit. Fresh install of the newest drivers just a couple days old now. YEY! no more EUEs with that damn NANs error and I'm doing the offending WUs just fine now. I've reorganized my internal fans and am getting way better temps now that I have 7 Noctua's installed with sound dampening rubber washers I found at Crappy Tire. I hit a nice folding stable OC with my 260 at 702/1618/1215 (c/s/m) and I'm hitting new highs now doing a 511 WU @ 6373ppd and 353 pointers at 9021ppd. Next is getting the SMP console back up and running with a folding stable OC of 4.05ghz like I had before but this time with better temps but I'll scale down the CPU usage for the SMP client to 92% which if my calculations are right should do a 1920 point SMP WU in just under 23hrs.
I figure if I can resist playing DoW2 for a good couple days and get some gravy projects to fold I just may be lucky and hit 10k in a 24hr period. I really need a cheapo folding card to add to my rig as I feel the 2 empty slots are going to waste. Guys keep your eyes out for a good folding card for me will ya. I don't want to go hog wild so a 8800gs or 9600gt would be nice to add for ~$50 if that doesn't sound to optimistic.
BTW BrainEater grats of the 1/2 million milestone.

but don't dally I'm right on your heals!
