That sir will be a genuine problem. I think it will have negligible inpact on folding though. It will be running her work apps, no 3D graphics involved, relatively light CPU usage mst of the time, expecially since it will be running 64 bit Solaris with 24 gigs of memory instead of windows with 2 or 4 gigs. I'm thinking very seriously about giving it a pair of EVGA's factorys hotrodded GTX275's in place of those 285's, too. I tried a 285 and it just didn't impress me. I think the superclocker 275's can do better, and two of those on a nice Gibabyte X58 board seems like a hot combination right now. I'm pretty much settled on it but remain open to suggestions, of course. I know beyond doubt its going to flat haul ass because of Solaris, but how much? I'm literally dying to find out LOL.
