My System Specs

Thumbs up BOINC w/ Rosetta, i7 flavor

It has started.

This is to gather data and benchmark the i7 920. For the first few days, it will be running stock (2.67GHz) with HT On. Load temps are very low 50s - the ambiant temp is quite high at 27C... fireplace is running...

Then I'll kick it into gear, around 3.8GHz.

More ss tomorrow.

I'll need your help guys to add data and compare the following: in the Advanced View, messages Tab: find a Benchmark result, and please reply with the data. The 920 has the following benchmark:

Number of CPUs: 8
2651 floating point MIPS per CPU.
6653 integer MIPS per CPU

I'll benchmark again once the chip is oc'ed.

Didn't have any results under messages, so clicked Run CPU Benchmarks from the Advanced Tab:

Number of CPUs: 4
2952 floating point MIPS per CPU
8540 integer MIPS per CPU

Q9450 [2.66GHz] running at 2.912 GHz...
