Benchmark results:
Number of CPUs: 8
3383 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
8509 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU
How do those look?

I'm currently @ 3.4 with an Ultima 90. Temps are at mid 60s. Damn.. I wish my TRUE fit in my case.. But yeah, the i7s fold really nicely.

I wonder how much a simple WC loop would cost for i7..

Mine did last night:

3831
9618

at 4.1, under water. How much? Can't say - pp prices. My setup: mcr-220, mcp-355, apogee GTZ, tubing, xspc pump top (res).

So that means we'll have 3 i7s in the top 5 (top 3?) eventually... you, me and Mat.

Hmm.. I'll have to see about that..

And I guess that does mean three i7s will be folding.

My numbers :

Measured floating point speed 3 798.14 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 12 004.5 million ops/sec

currently 4.2, not sure if will stay there.

the guy on top spot, with is dual xenon at almost 4500 will be tough to get. I was 4300 before I got all the bad task and I was starting to stall.

and a CPU only loop would be about :

Block : GTZ + bracket about 80 $
Radiator MCR220 about 40 $
Tubing : 10 $
Pump : 80 $

minimum 200 $, but you can find used and make a better cost.

I'll be putting my i7 under water as soon as I get some funds. Right now it's at 3.6, and is loading at 70C with BOINC, OCCT, and Prime95 running. I'll let those go for the night to test my stability. But should I be worried? 70C long term doesn't sound that good for the chip, but then again.. I'll most likely be changing chip in a year or so.

Mine was crunching happily at 75C with the TRUE... no issues what-so-ever.

I am testing the temperature limit to. To be BOINC stable at 4.2 , it goes up to 70 C under water.

In my experience, Full load BOINC result in cooler temp vs Full load prime95 .
