Thanks folks, good data to compare chips.

RAC is still very low, 105.91.

Rack takes a lot of time :)

For the integeter MIPS, I found that the Ram speed at a lot of influence on it.

my QX9560 at 4.1 had close to 4000 Floating point MIPS and this was giving my a RAC of 3000 ish.

edit :

this is the biggest RAC (!) :

Computer summary

it is a Xeon baseed 8 cores (daul socket server board) :

Measured floating point speed
3231.99 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed
9331.75 million ops/sec

Interesting, while the floating point MIPS stays consistent with the proc speed, the integer MIPS seems quite a bit higher on the 45nm chips...

That is per core though isn't it?

I'm also guessing that 8 cores is due to hyperthreading?

If I'm reading this right.... My quad at 3.74 mem 1110

3491.96 Floating point MIPs
7950.95 Measured integer speed

You are correct Sir. 8 Cores due to HT.
