Hi all, I haven't left the team.

Congratulations to everybody for the HUGE folding effort.
The team is moving up daily

October was a slow(er) folding month for me.

My million point goal is pushed back a few weeks.
My apologies to anyone who gets their spot bumped in the process

I had a random shut down issue with my computer that I didn't have time to track down until recently.

After a lot of messing around, I reseated the gpu and ran memtest.
I was running a 1gb stick of Crucial Ballistix (2v) because I loaned out its mate to my daughter for some ram issues she was having.
In hindsight, it probably wasn't the best choice of ram for trouble shooting.

Memory errors were showing up. Just for the heck of it I moved that ram to a different slot and added an old 1gb (1.8v) stick I found in my desk.
I didn't think the two ram sticks would play well together but the bios set them to 667mhz and no more shutdowns.

I could not find anywhere in the bios to check ram voltage settings (Asus P5K vanilla, just flashed to newest bios). I assume it is automatically set from the ram SPD. Its not a very OC friendly board.

On my other system, Late in September/early Oct, the 9800gx2 started running slow. Slow, as in 5-7000ppd.
I thought it was just the WUs I was getting.
I reinstalled the clints and they have been consistently back up to 11ish again. ???
I am not sure what was going on there.

Anyway, thats been my folding adventures.
I am back on track for that million point milestone and beyond.
