ok, thanks. I've been running boinc for rosetta for awhile now.
*sigh* can't say as like the inferface of this gpu stuff.

Did you get the systray or the console client?. Also you will need a monitoring program like Home | FahMon or FahSpy - powerful monitoring tool for Folding@Home distributed computing to check your PPD...

I think I'm going to bail out of the gpu client thing, and stick with what I got.

That would be unfortunate as your GTX280 is a great Folding card, you would get ~7500 PPD with it. Just ask 3.0 Charlie he uses two of them.

Is there any particular problem we can help you with, once set up its close to a set and forget thing, you just watch the points roll in...

The 280s are very efficient folders - don't bail out. It's very easy to set it up, very few settings to change and like lcb said, it's set and forget. Though I would suggest to increase the fan speed to 60% due to the heat load increase.

Increase only Shaders and yer well on your way its quiet easy once you spend some time.
