How do I choose a user-name?

To check if a name is already being used, do a search below.
SEARCH
Type your name (where it says "Your-Name") to see if the name you've chosen is already being used. You can also choose not to have a user-name and just donate your CPU time anonymously.

You can choose any name you like, as long as it contains only letters or numbers (to insert a space, you can use the underscore "_" character). If you choose your email as your user-name, we will NOT print your full email. Instead, just the part before the @ sign will be used in any stats listing, etc.

Once you do that download the client, gpu or cpu or both, then install use the username you created when prompted and to fold for HCF enter the Team number :54196

Thanks guys, glad to be aboard. I just d/l the client it recommended and didn't set any options. I'm not sure if it's using both cores or my GPU but it's working away swimingly. 30mins in and it says 150/5000. maybe I should install it on my laptop to and use both fulltime while I sleep.

Depending on your laptop. I tried it on my wife's Dell Inspirion 1501 and it was too much for it. It ran hotter than hell so I had to stop.
