Computex 2017: InWin Introduces Wood Cases

by Michael "SKYMTL" Hoenig     |     May 30, 2017

At every show we've been to InWin is always good for a few headline grabbers. Sometimes its for cases designed like fish tanks while other times we've seen ultra expensive stainless steel enclosures that were only launched in limited edition runs. With that being said, InWin has also been a pioneer of sorts with new designs and they were arguably the ones who introduced tempered glass into the case market.

This time around they're going with something a bit more subtle...at least initially. Gone are the overly loud designs of yesteryear and in their place is an understated design with wood as an exterior material over a standard steel chassis. It actually looks really good but there was no mention about the warping that typically happens with wood when it is subjected to constant heat and cooling cycles.

As for the usual InWin oddities....well there may be a few a bit later in the video below.
