EVGA have finally unveiled their Z270 motherboard series, which features three unique models.

While they are a little slow out of the gate, EVGA have just announced their Z270 motherboard lineup: the full-size Z270 Classified K and Z270 FTW K, and the Mini-ITX Z270 Stinger. When it comes to connectivity, each of the models features modern must-haves like SATA 6Gb/s ports, one U.2 port, and one or two M.2 storage slots with Intel Optane technology, and both USB 3.1 Type-A and Type-C ports. One of the main reasons to choose an EVGA motherboard is overclocking, and these models should deliver since they feature a newly-designed VRM design and support the highly capable EVGA E-LEET X tuning utility.

The EVGA Z270 CLASSIFIED K features a 13-phase digital CPU power design, three PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots with support for 2-way SLI, three PCI-E 3.0 x1 slots, four Intel SATA 6Gb/s ports, four Marvell SATA 6Gb/s ports, two SATA Express ports, one U.2 port, a pair of full-speed PCI-E 3.0 x4 M.2 slots (that support Intel Optane), and one M.2 Key E slot. There are also two high-speed USB 3.1 ports, one Type-A and one Type-C, four USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, as well as two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 header. The two gigabit LAN ports are powered by Killer E2500 and Intel i219-V controllers. The onboard audio is based on the Creative Sound Core3D quad-core audio processor.

The EVGA Z270 FTW K features a 11-phase digital CPU power design, three PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots with support for 2-way SLI, one PCI-E x4 slot, one PCI-E x1 slot, six Intel SATA 6Gb/s ports, two SATA Express ports, one U.2 port, a pair of full-speed PCI-E 3.0 x4 M.2 slots (that support Intel Optane), and one M.2 Key E slot. There are also two high-speed USB 3.1 ports, one Type-A and one Type-C, six USB 3.0 ports, as well as two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 header. The two gigabit LAN ports are powered by Killer E2400 and Intel i219-V controllers. The onboard audio codec is not specified, but itís probably based on the Realtek ALC1220.

The EVGA Z270 Stinger is a Mini-ITX motherboard that features a 6-phase digital CPU power design, one PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot, four Intel SATA 6Gb/s ports, one U.2 port, one PCI-E 3.0 x4 M.2 slots (that support Intel Optane), and one M.2 Key E slot. There are also two high-speed USB 3.1 ports, one Type-A and one Type-C, six USB 3.0 ports, as well as one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 header. There is also one gigabit LAN port are powered by an Intel i219-V controller, as well a dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi motherboard with Bluetooth. The onboard audio codec is not specified, but itís probably based on the Realtek ALC1220.
