By about 3:30PM, there was a pretty decent crowd in attendance so it was time to start the gaming portion of the evening.


First though, the representatives of the event’s various sponsors gave brief speeches. Clockwise from the top we have reps for GIGABYTE, Intel, NVIDIA, Corsair, Antec, Philips, Supercom, and Canada Computers.

At 5:30PM, there was a lucky draw for prizes. People won t-shirts, GIGAGYTE Ghost mouse pads, Corsair A70 and H70 CPU coolers, and GIGABYTE jackets.


However, the biggest prize was won by new HWC forum member Kirbster. The lucky guy won and got to choose any of the gaming systems in the room. It was a prize valued at about $2300. Not a bad haul for an afternoon of gaming!
