| Conclusion Conclusion: Price-wise, it's hard to beat the nMedia MCEKB. It is a great choice at about $10 less than most of the competition while it offers all of the benefits we have come to expect from a wireless device. nMedia successfully managed to merge three devices into one with no design issues that hamper the experience. While it does a great job for what it was designed to do, don’t expect this keyboard to be the tool you use to write the novel you’ve always dreamt of. Instead, use it as a über remote for movie watching and Internet surfing that you’ll end up doing on your media PC. Overall, the nMedia MCEKB provides an excellent and convenient solution to holding a keyboard and media center remote and you will never be left wondering whether to put your mouse on your leg or the couch arm rest. In the end, the nMedia MCEKB will definitely enhance the accessibility of any media center PC setup even if you do have a remote already. to make matters even better, it comes with a price which is hard to resist. Pros: -Look Ma, no driver! -Convenient all-in-one keyboard and mouse solution, great for media PCs -Uses only 2 AA batteries and they still haven’t needed replacement Cons: -Definitely not a keyboard for long sessions of typing -MCE shortcut buttons are for Vista only -Some keys are jammed tighter together than spectators at New Year’s in Times Square ![]() ![]() Special thanks to nMedia for providing this review sample | ||
