Hardware Canucks Corsair 800D Case Mod By MNPCTECH.com Unveiled

This has been a long time coming: the Hardware Canucks custom case is finally ready for its unveiling! By using a stock Corsair Obsidian 800D as a starting point, MNPCTECH.com has put together a unique mod that not only shows their skill but also gives us something to lust over.

So how do you make the Corsair Obsidian 800D even more epic? Bill Owen of MNPCTECH has the secret with the Hardware Canucks Custom Case mod.

The design takes high quality Candy Apple Red paint, and transforms this beast into something scrumptious looking enough to eat! Accented with the one of a kind Hardware Canucks aluminum fan grills and some of the original black, this one of a kind design will make you salivate.

The top radiator spacing has been extended to support a enormous 420mm (3x140mm) radiator with customized aluminum fan grill that adds the novelty of full rotation. The traditional Obsidian 800D rounded side window has be squared off and a unique HWC logo window frame added to give the case an amazing focal point.

The icing on this pie is the white LED lighting effects provided by 6 new 140mm LED fans.

This is more than just your average case mod.

In this Product Showcase, we take a closer look at the mod and give a quick introduction of what will eventually turn into a full build log as we put together a system worthy of this case. Could this all be followed by a contest? Well, you never know.... ;)

Until then, enjoy the unveiling:
