The drivers for this audio card installed on the first attempt. I followed the install instruction in the manual, they are simple and they show the procedure many use to install drivers. The ASUS audio control panel is very slick and helps give this product an overall polished feel. All the card's settings are readily available and it also includes “Quick Launch Icons” for the bundled audio software. ASUS also bundled a very nice assortment of audio production software for the budding home musicians, including Ableton Live 6 Lite CD and the Cakewalk Production Plus Pack CD. The Cakewalk production CD features Sonar LE, Dimension LE and Project 5 LE. There is also the OEM version of Power DVD V.7 software DVD player. A very powerful software bundle clearly aimed at the home recording crowd.
