Packaging and Accessories

The packaging for this particular card follows the general design and size of nearly every other Sapphire HD 5000 series product we have seen so far. However, it is good to see that there is some information about the heatsink included although the details are sparse.

While the back of the box includes a massive amount of information regarding features, there is still no mention of clock speeds, memory bandwidth or any other true specification for that matter. In inclusion of our Dam Good Award in the bottom left hand corner is a nice touch though…

The protection scheme meanwhile is pure Sapphire with a recycled cardboard insert making sure the card doesn’t move around too much while an anti static bubble wrap bag offers some additional protection.

Since this is a budget-oriented card, the list of accessories is limited but still includes the necessary Crossfire connector, HDMI to DVI break-out cable, DVI to VGA adaptor and a trial version of SimHD. As usual, there is also a quick start guide and a driver CD.
