Overclocking


While you might think that Sapphire built some extra overclocking headroom into this card due to its high performance cooler, things couldn’t be further from the truth. Indeed, out of the numerous HD 4890 cards we have reviewed to date, the Vapor-X was one of the worst clockers of the bunch. This is disappointing considering the high hopes I’m sure everyone had.
