Back in 2003, Antec released the original Sonata case which proved to be wildly popular with newcomers and enthusiasts alike. Not only did the case offer subtle yet stunning looks but it also offered good functionality, a 380W power supply (which was more than adequate for the time) and a very attractive price-point. With the second iteration of the Sonata Antec made minor revisions to both the exterior and interior of the case and added a 450W power supply. Now the third phase of the Sonata evolution is upon us with the aptly-named Sonata III. Once again Antec is not promising the sun, the moon and the stars with this case. Rather, they are offering a case that hopes to appeal to the majority of entry-level consumers by building on the lessons they learned from the Sonata II in order to make a superior value-oriented case. This time they have added one of their Earthwatts 500W power supplies to the mix as well. Make no mistake about it; Antec has brought out the big guns once again and has packed a whole lot of features into this small case.
