Cooling Performance

System Used:
AMD X2 3800+ @ 2.6Ghz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64Pro
2GB Corsair XMS @ 520Mhz
DFI Lanparty SLI-DR Expert
EVGA 8800GTS SLI
Samsung Spinpoint 250GB
Silverstone Decathlon 650W

Room Temperature: 23.7°C

All of these test results were recorded after 1 hour of the computer staying at idle speed and then again after one hour of playing Company of Heroes.
The front fan which was installed was a Zalman 120mm operating at 1800rpm.

It should now be extremely apparent why the front 120mm fan is recommended. Granted, two 8800-series space heaters were installed making this a somewhat extreme condition but as you can see, the cooling performance lags with only one 120mm fan installed. A second fan (in this case a $9.00 Zalman 120mm) does wonders for the cooling performance of this case even though it will take up a bit of interior room.
