Memory Benchmarks

Lavalys Everest Ultimate v5.00

Everest Ultimate is the most useful tool for any and all benchmarkers or overclockers. With the ability to pick up most voltage, temperature, and fan sensors on almost every motherboard available, Everest provides the ability to customize the outputs in a number of forms on your desktop. In addition to this, the memory benchmarking utility provides a useful tool of measuring the changes to your memory sub-system.

As expected, and as will be the case in all the benchmarks henceforth, the results are very close. The MIIG appears to have slightly greater bandwidth at stock speeds, while the EP45-DQ6 surpasses it when overclocked.

On the latency front, the ASUS is impressively faster than the Gigabyte board at stock settings, but when overclocked the EP45-DQ6 eeks out a small latency victory.

ScienceMark v2.0

Although last updated almost 3 years ago, and despite its rudimentary interface, ScienceMark v2.0 remains a favorite for accurately calculating bandwidth on even the newest chipsets.

Mirroring the Everest results, Sciencemarks shows the MIIG to be roughly 2% faster than the EP45-DQ6 at stock, but with the latter pushing out a little more bandwidth when overclocked.
