EVGA GeForce GTX 285 1GB SSC Edition Review

Call of Duty: World at War

To benchmark this game, we played through 10 minutes of the second mission (Little Resistance) starting from right after the player calls in the rocket strike on the enemy positions on the beach. This was benchmarked using FRAPS.

1680 x 1050

1920 x 1200

2560 x 1600

With its high clock speeds, the EVGA GTX 285 SSC Edition is able to stay a good 10-20% faster than the GTX 280 in every one of these tests. What surprised us the most however was how well this lead was maintained at the higher resolutions.
