At least, I certainly hope so.
Can't I ever have any fun? How can you not find what I posted completely hilarious?
And yes, I am and was entirely sober. A little tired perhaps but sober.
I hope nobody missed my disclaimer at the bottom. >_>
Think I need my own thread for some amusing crazyness like this and other absurd things I have jokingly said. :P

Anyway, getting back on topic...

At first I was like, "is this guy serious"? lol Btw ejaculate works well, a bit sticky, but works none the less. hahaha ;)

Thanks for the tips guys :)

enaberif,

You said the foam pad from the motherboard was abrasive, did you mean non-abrasive? Isn't abrasive the opposite of what you would want on the CPU or Chipset?

Rubbing Alcohol has to be at least 99% otherwise there is to much water content which you have to wait and let evaporate.

I'm still using 70% and it evaporates within 2 seconds.

I use 99.9% myself, I find the 70% leaves a residue

You might wanna take a look at this: Best Thermal Paste Application Methods | best thermal paste application, thermal compound, thermal interface material, best practices | Benchmark Reviews Performance Tests

Also, I like to apply the paste, mount the HSF and take it off to check the coverage...and then re-mount according to how well the TIM spread.
