From Where to where.

air cooled or water cooled.

Air cooled remove graphics cards and large air heat sinks and RAM.

Do you still have the box the computer case came in ??

Remove aftermarket CPU heatsink, RAM (less of a concern), and any installed cards (GPU/soundcards/etc), and ship it in the factory case box if you have it.

bung has it..

From experience traveling throughout europe with my rig:
As said above, remove anything heavy.. Heatsinks, gpu's etc. HDD's are a must remove too, especially if they are in a caddy and not screwed in.
Put some card over the motherboard (I don't remove ram) And fill with large bubble packaging, enough to make sure nothing can move and if it does, it won't go far / bounce around.

Original box & packaging is a bonus but not a must. Just give about 2 - 3 inches clearance from the box and make sure again it cannot move.. Hard-case (like above) is Ideal.

Rig in my sig has made 3 trans Europe trips. Last one was rough enough to bash the box and break the packaging and dislodge a fan from it's mount (not the surround, just the blades) but everything still survived and no hard-case.. Monitor wasn't so lucky :(
