SSD upgrade

I have an Acer Aspire 7560 with dual hard drive slots, Quad Core A6 3420M, 8 GB DDR3 pc1333, and a 750 GB hard drive and DVD drive.

I bought two of these OCZ Technology 128GB Vertex 4 Series SATA 6.0 GB/s they were on sale for 79 dollars and I want to know should I use both of them or use one for one slot and my 750 gb in the other slot? Please help thank you

With 2 ssd's you could set them up in RAID 0, but I don't think that laptop has support for RAID unfortunately.

I think your best bet would be to use one ssd as the OS drive and then use the 750GB HDD for file storage.

If you don't need alot of storage space however, and prefer speed, then you could use one ssd for windows, and the other for storage. This would be the most power efficient, coolest, and quietest configuration.

RAID 0 is dangerous and not a good idea for a setup that will have data involved.
