I've been looking forever for dense nylon monofilament sleeve that doesn't cost a fortune and all along I forget that's the same stuff they use in paracord.:doh::doh: What's better is that after you take out the nylon strands you can reuse them for HDD suspension mounting. I don't get why the guy in the video didn't just tape the connector instead of wasting expensive heatshrink. |
Very nice! I'm about ready to take on this project and paracord is cheaper then sleeving!! Thanks for the vid! |
How many hours would that take? I don't think I would have the patience to do that to my personal PC, doesn't seem worth it for something nobody will ever really look at. |
For a first timer, an afternoon or 10 :haha: It is a hobby. Not a lot of people see model car collections, but people still spend hours doing it. |
Yea I guess that is true and I have to say it does look freakin' sweet |
This is the kind of thing I would do while watching some light comedy or listening to music. Trouble is, all of my media is on my computer, which would temporarily not have a powersupply. Oh, what a quandary. |
This is like meditation. Lotta work if you are into that sort of thing. |
Agree, paracord sleeve takes a lot of Patience |
