I've been looking forever for dense nylon monofilament sleeve that doesn't cost a fortune and all along I forget that's the same stuff they use in paracord. :doh::doh::doh:

What's better is that after you take out the nylon strands you can reuse them for HDD suspension mounting.

I don't get why the guy in the video didn't just tape the connector instead of wasting expensive heatshrink.

How many hours would that take? I don't think I would have the patience to do that to my personal PC, doesn't seem worth it for something nobody will ever really look at.

This is the kind of thing I would do while watching some light comedy or listening to music. Trouble is, all of my media is on my computer, which would temporarily not have a powersupply. Oh, what a quandary.

This is like meditation. Lotta work if you are into that sort of thing.
