Default Case fans to MB or PSU?

I have a HAF 932 and Corsair 850TX which I haven't opened either yet. Do I attach the case fans to the PSU or the MB?

The HAF-932 fans are actually pretty quiet running at 12V. I hooked them up directly to the PSU in my case.

If the fan is PWM capable connecting it to the board will make speed change with temp of the sensor on the board. But, board suck at that the fan spin up most of the time. The best way is to get a fan controller or to short the fan to 5V. They will be pretty silent and good airflow as well.

Anyone know if it's a simple process to install for example a Zalman fan controller to an Antec 1200 which has several built in case fans all connected already?

Well the 12 hundred already have fan controller on the 3 front fan. If you want all fan to be on the controller, you should look at the Sunbeam Rheobus 6 channel. This is one of the best on the market with 30V on each channel. You can also remove the glossy plate and remove the led ( with some cutter ). If you stick with the Zalman, it`s pretty simple. Just put it like a CD drive and then plug every cable on the channel you cant`go wrong it`s pretty easy.

NCIX.com - Buy Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme Black 5.25IN 6 Fan Controller Blue LED Up to 30W Per Channel - RHK-EX-BK In Canada.

Actually Martin, ALL the fans on the Antec 1200 have controllers, the rear 2 and massive one on top are controlled on the back of the case. Still I am wondering if it would be a pain in the a$$ to somehow bypass the included controls and install the zalman.

Because my Rig generates quite a bit of heat...I prefer all of my Fans to run at thier Max rated speed...no worries thier. As for whetehr I use the Mobo Fan Headers or directly to PSU basically boils down to Cable Management...however I can keep it all tidy...Fans that are positioned handy to Headers get plugged into the Mobo...those that are not..go to PSU...
