I was referring to your side panel, not the plexi. Is your side panel just a plain metal panel or does it have that grill thing?

When cutting with the jigsaw, make sure you have the right blade. Don't worry, your jigsaw is more than capable of handling that job.

The only thing my side panel has is the sound barrier on the inside.

Plain side panel. That's good. Use your imagination to cut out your own design. Instead of just a plain square or rectangular hole, why not a hexagon or something of that nature. Actually now that I think of it, a hexagon shaped hole would look great on your cosmos case!

Just be careful with it. And you gotta make sure to file off the rough edges.

You can get a relatively cheap jigsaw from canadian tire. I think I paid around 25$ for mine.
