Thanks for the link. But you should call yourself 'somemagicguyfromBurnaby' or something, cause that is a pretty neat trick. LOL Joined this month, your second post and yet " I still have the previous version for anyone who needs it (with the dos files)". Time traveler, space shifter, what? LOL

I've been fighting with this all day, and just now am starting to wonder if maybe the P35 DQ6 just won't boot from a USB stick... it has options for USB devices, but they're HDD, ODD, ZIP, etc... nothing about just the old standard "boot from usb device". I'll have to try it on a newer motherboard tomorrow.

Boot from USB-HDD is what I always use, and i've never had an issue with booting off any of my USB keys with that option.

Hrmmm.... that's what I've been trying (along with every other option in there... ;) ). I've had my doubts about the bios in this motherboard for a while (already reflashed), but I'd written the issues off as being tied to PSU problems I RMA'd for, but maybe there's still something going on. I'll have to try with a different motherboard to see if it's the way I did the USB stick. (just bought a cheepie $7 2G stick to make a permanent boot stick with......).
