Would also add that maintinance time would be a good time to look for file copies with a dupe finder, or to use a program like spacemonger to look for large hard drive eating files or folders. I cant add much more than that tho cause personnally, i format my pc every month or so so i never have a maintanance day ;D

I really need to reformat.. my pc is so much slower now. And dust.. zomg i have so much dust. I'll take some pictures tomorrow after my exam and show everyone. I've been slacking off on that department.

Good list, what about adaware? anyone use that these days? I used to, but i haven't done it for months.. not even sure its still on my pc.

My System Specs

Once a year I simply reinstall Windows. The only way to keep it relatively fast. All versions (2000 - Vista).
It is a long process, but I keep all drivers/software in separate folder, so I just go item by item. It also helps me to get read of unwanted software (old games, etc). Or you can simply restore from backup of clean install.
