Default Looking for a noob's IN-DEPTH guide on building your own rig

Not for me, but im not the best at explaining.
My bud wants to build his own - i offered to help him but he'd have none of it.

Anyone know of a good in-depth guide to building a good gaming rig/rig in general (air cooled/or liquid doesnt matter.)

pictures would be sweet!

the guide idealy would have things from preparing, precautions, the actual building, and what to do afterwards.

thanks!

There was a thread a few months back that lead to the answers you'd need to build from scratch. Ill try and search it out and edit this later.

Now that was just an excellent guide, with lots of pics too. It should be stickied really, it is hard to find guides like this nowadays..
