Default DOOM 3 - Resurrection of Evil

Can anyone tell me how to stop this expansion pack from trying “phone home” It causes my firewall to popup a box over the game in the middle of play which is somewhat disruptive to say the least - definitely hazardous to one's in game health

Add to app to your allowed list in your firewall.

I only allow stuff through the firewall when I know why it needs to and agree with the reason. So far I don't see why it needs to as the original game didn't exhibit this behaviour.

Then add it to your lists of apps banned from using the internet so your firewall proggy won't ask for permission every time
