LOL My player name is HaxXxor, you may see me sometimes, but I agree. I know this one kid who live about a block from me. He fails at every weapon in the COD4 arsenal and now resorts to p90 silencer + uav jammer + last stand, and he cannot AIM at all haha, spray and pray. He refuses to play normal mode because he will get owned in 2 seconds haha.

Anyone know any good newb servers I played my first online game today and I got beyond schooled it was really horrible... I am enjoying the SP campaign I suck at that as well so that could be why Multiplayer is gonna be a challenge for me.. And also I am still having issues with Punkbuster so I can only join servers that don't use it. But yeah tips for me the uber-newb would be much appreciated.

No such thing as noob servers. They are just there so uber dicks can come in and own noobs.

Try the <HoG> server.
Several members of my clan have been banned from there for "hacking" and they even disputed a match against us because "no one is that good"

Your pb issues are likely related to you not having the latest version of pb.
I believe www.evenbalance.com is where you can get the latest version.

As for uber-newb tips:

1) Stay under cover until you're certain it's clear to move
2) Try to learn the maps - start your own MP game and just run around to get to know the layout

It's mostly experience with the maps that will improve your game - knowing the common hiding spots, the spawn locations (spawnkill ftw!) etc

Of course having good reflexes & mouse-eye co-ordination doesn't hurt either!

Not exactly I play TF2 alot but it doesn't seem to translate into COD4 for me. Could just be a case of me sucking and not me being a newb... I guess I will just have to practice more with SP and see if that will help.

Practice is definitely the best way to get things rolling, some pick it up quick and others tend to take a bit longer. Just for the love of GOD don't be campin' with an LMG, that makes baby marines cry.

Try to manually update your PB from evenbalance cause if you are playing on servers without it you are being beat by cheaters running aimbots and other hacks and don't stand much of a chance against most of their cheats lazy arses don't wanna take the time to learn just wanna cheat. Don't worry so much about being a noob.....everybody was a noob at some point and will be a noob at something else eventually
