My first gam e i played on a computer was kings quest 1, the original
Quest For The Crown :)
Developed throughout 1983 and released in 1984, King's Quest was innovative in its use of 16-color graphics on the PC.
Selecting 'RGB mode' at the title screen would instead result in the usual CGA graphics mode limited to a 4 colors. In this mode, dithering was employed to simulate extra colors.

I played some random learning games when I was really little (math games... and puzzle games) but I'd say my first "game" was this too. Haha I had all 7 of these and the Space quest ones too.

Actually the vids from this game look pretty good. I have no idea about the story though. First computer game: Akalabeth (1979 Apple II) - I still remember my favorite spell which I think was "tiltowait" - essentially a tactical nuke. We used to call it tilto-nuke.
