Default crysis system requirements

On Ea's website for Crysis it says you need a direct x 9c compatible sound card, does that mean youcan't play crysis with integrated sound?

Thanks for that, I can imagine the horror of having an up to date rig and crysis not working because of integrated sound

WolfBane, you have a nice system there that will definitely run Crisis. The resolution of your monitor will dictate how high the settings can be. I have basically the same processor, the exact same sound card and an older vid card (see sig) but I only use a 19" widescreen. I was able to run all high for most of Crysis. The last levels I had to turn it down a notch or 2 here and there. Unless you have a real big monitor it should run real smooth for you.

Yeah the machine gobbled up COD4 when I ran some tests. 1920X1200 all high settings, and it ran smooth as silk.
