Steam (or D2D for the other people/Steam haters) is where it's at.

I pre-purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam a week/week and a half or so ago. Can't wait to play it, although I'll wait for my HD 4870 X2 to get here first, because I don't think this HD 4670 I'm using now will play it too well.

Looks awesome though.

Pre-ordered from Impulse. Nothing against Steam really, but Impulse has also been good for me, and I'd rather spread my money around if I don't sacrifice anything in the process. Going to be a few days before I can try it, though. Got too much work piling up, and I'm at the edge of my bandwidth limit for the next few days, and don't feel like getting $16 in over-bandwidth charges from Rogers.

85% preloaded already

Just another couple hours before I'll be able to start playing my Dwarf Noble Warrior. I think that was the trailer that convinced me to buy the game. Looks absolutely epic.

I will be buying this game, but not quite right away. The nice thing about Single Player RPG games is that you don't have to be first out of the gate (like a competitive FPS or RTS). You can play it when the game has matured a bit and all the bugs have been worked out through patches.

That said, I agree, this game looks EPIC. I am guessing at a kind of Mass Effect style approach with swords and sorcery instead of blasters.

Cheers!

nothing at all like Mass Effect, I'm still trying to figure out combat. Took me round 10 times to beat the giant monster thing at the top of the tower.

Im 20 mins into the game.

Game play= 4/10

Graphics= 5/10

I hope to God they bring out a Patch to fix these Graphics.

Thiers no way in Hell you would need a Quad to play this,
I bet a Prescott and a 6600Ultra Would rock this game.

Im thinking another PC game that should not have had the huge hype, Like OPF2.

Just my 2cents

So much for a good long RPG to hold me over.
