Game recomendations?

Here is my story,
In December my 7300 GS died on me so I replaced it with an 8600 GT and was so suprised with the difference I started looking into hardware again.
I ended up replacing my computer (P4 3GHz) completely including my new video card.

New system:
E8400, 8800 GTS 512, 4GB Ascent 8000, Vista64 and XP32 and it's all OCed.

I've only been gaming on the PC for about 5 months so I've missed a lot. So far I've played all the Orange Box, Bioshock, COD4, Crysis, Assassins Creed and a little CoH (not so good at this one).

I enjoyed them all but found Assassins Creed got a little boring after awhile and I need to give Company of Heros a bit more of a chance.

I'm looking for suggestions for new games to buy. Older games are welcome as well as the latest and greatest.

I really liked Ace Combat 4 on my Playstation, are there any simular games for the PC? Not real flight simulators but arcadish type control.

I read alot of books and the way I find new ones is I ask readers, "If I were to only read a couple more books in my life what would you suggest?". I've found alot of good books this way.

So fellow Cannucks (and others) what do you consider as some of the best games in all genres to come out in the last 5 years or so?

I would say C&C3: Tiberium Wars is a great game. You should play it.

I really enjoyed Age of the Empire III , there is 2 expansion pack to it.

I have also been looking for something like this but so far no luck. Pretty much everything put out for PC in this genre is like 5 or more years old. Fortunately there is a new one coming out fairly soon that will be on PC, it is Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. It looks good and will hopefully be out around September.

Two more to consider:

World in Conflict is a great RTS, and I really enjoyed Mass Effect which is a sci-fi RPG.

+1 for world in conflict and Age of Empires 3. C&C3 is good but in my mind not as good as the first to I suggested.

Also try GRiD if you're into racing.

Add another vote for Grid.

Also another RPG that I am almost finished that I have very much enjoyed is The Witcher. A little buggy sometimes but a great story, and your choices you make along the way drastically alter future events in the game. I know I will be replaying it again just to make some different choices.

For Racing, Flatout and Flatout 2. kinda over the top rally racing, lots of fun.
Supreme Commander
The whole Grand Theft Auto series

I just picked up Farcry a few days ago for $20, pretty good.
sequel is coming in the fall.

Tempted on trying the racing game, but what about controls, you guys use keyboard ? OR is there not to exprensive nice usb driving wheel ?
