Default Anyone playing AoC?

I picked it up yesterday. First impression was negative because it took 6 hours to get it fully installed and patched. After downloading gigs of updates I tried to run the game it it just hangs so I ran that verifier prog and it determined I had 2GB more of "corrupt" files. Few more hours of DL and I was GTG.

Anyway, once I got it up and running I was happy with the first 10 levels. I really like the combat, it is nice to actually be fighting unlike other mmorpg where you just click auto attack and a few spells. Makes you pay attention and not just mouse click all day. Swords through the heart and chopping off heads and stuff is cool too.

Graphics are decent, and what is nice is it is optimized for multi core and new gen GPUs.

If anyone is playing, post your server and char names.

I will be "trying" it as soon as they implement the buddy keys.

Age of Conan.

Problem is theres so many different reviews that people aren't wanting to spend $60 for a game they may not like because they don't have a trial system like WoW did.

I'm assuming it's Age of Conan: Hyboring :) Adventures.

Been a while since I've played a morepig, but I'm seriously considering trying this one out.

Edit: Wow, I must be a slow typer today, 2 responses before me.

Its a good one, check it out. Ive been playing EQ2 for 4 years now and they refuse to upgrade the engine to use decent GPU and multi core so this is def a nice change.

Its reasonably priced too, on sale for $45 at future shop, and 1st month is free so you can decide if you like it.

A guy at XS posted some hi res screenshots if you want to take a look.

Might want to check their site for stock. 6 of 7 FS in Calgary were sold out so I had to drive half hour to Best Buy. :/
