Default Are PC gamers better than console gamers?

Are people who play games on their PC generally perceived as "better" than console only gamers-for the same game that is?

Just wondering if you encounter more organized resistance playing on a PC than a console.

I'm not a console gamer (not an FPS gamer anywise) but the argument I've seen put forward for PVP play on XBox Live for games which have both Console and PC players is that the PC controls are much more precise allowing good PC gamers to have an advantage over console gamers.

For FPS games, PC is BY FAR a superior platform. The keyboard and mouse offer much more precise and natural controls plus you have many more buttons which you can use for actions and macros.

Maybe it's just me, but the console games also seem to be easier. I was playing Rainbow Six: Vegas at my bro's on his 360 and, despite the fact that I can't aim for shit using the 360 controller, I still managed to beat one of the later missions without any problems on the first try. It's a much tougher game on PC despite being easier to control and aim.

I would say that a PC gamer would be better just because the PC gamer has allot more todo the a console gamer that just hold onto his controller I myself do care much for consoles I mean I used to like the Final Fantasy series but I really prefer PC games because there are allot more options and controls you can adjust ( oops getting a little of topic lol)

I have to say that pc in general is superior by far. The whole point of the console was for people to do casual gaming. just my 2 cents.

Well both have their amazingly good people and both have extremely horrible players. Although I believe that there are more better players on PC then consoles from my experiences(I own a 360, PS3, Wii, etc).
