Default Fallout 4!?!

The hits just keep coming this week. It's not "official" but the title page a Bethesda certainly leaves little doubt it's what the big E3 Pre-Press Conference is about.

Saw this on flipboard inbetween sets at the gym. Hopefully they take some lessons from the depth of New Vegas. I've been playing since FO1 so more Fallout is always a plus for me. Hopefully they bug-test it a little more thoroughly before release than the did with 3 :D

Right now I'm playing the Tale of Two Wastelands which merges the Fallout 3 content into the New Vegas engine and creates a railroad connection between the two of them so you can travel back and forth.

Damn, that sounds like a good mod. I kept meaning to do one more FO3 playthrough. Might have to look into this. How's the install process? Pretty convoluted, or not much worse than your average multi-mod

It's actually pretty straight forward. Download both games and all DLC, download the TOTW installer, run the installer. Done. Works with FOMM to if you've messed with modding it, but only supports New Vegas mods or mods specifically ported to TOTW. They also have a port for most of the big hit mods like NMC's High Def textures, Fellout, EVE, etc.

There is no Fallout 4 footage out yet. It hasn't even been 'announced'. There's just this wich is a blatant 'It's coming'

Whatever you saw was probably that fake footage from a year or two ago.

It's officially announced now. Via a "leak" (marketing) there's even a trailer for it.

Also it's on Current Gen systems only (PS4, Xbox One and PC) so perhaps it'll look "good" compare to say Fallout 3's plastic Biowaresyndrome faces.

After playing W3 and having played FO3 to compare I think FO4 is going to have to do some serious heavyweight punching to make me even think about buying it.
