Planetside2 performance (EXE DD)

Hi,

I just noticed a strange thing. I just upgraded from a 1090T to a 3570K both systems using a GTX480, and my PS2 performance is worse, FPS drop and my power use went through the roof (well up 70-90 Watts measured) WTF is going on were all those intel fanbois lying to me about this CPU?

I wonder if anyone else is having issues after today's patch, any players here...calling all EXE

PS2 is VERY CPU intensive and takes advantage of more threads, that's probably why you're seeing a drop in performance.

Dam I thought the ivy performance increase would compensate, already had to disconnect the GTX480 SLI for planetside2, in skyrim with pretty much every graphical mod I only pull 350-400watts @ 1920x1200 ultra, PS2 pulls more than 700W set at medium graphics... crazy.

guess I'll have to upgrade again:doh::rofl:
