What I'm starting to wonder now is there is the fact that AMD is expected to be power both of the major consoles for the next generation is this going to be a problem for nVidia in the future? AMD chips being prioritized anyways? That thinking makes me happy I stuck with AMD for my last card.

Only if you don't like the idea of proprietary physics no longer being proprietary. I see nothing but roses if AMD avoid nVidia's past practice of shutting out customers of other brands.

yeah I'm hopeful that I will see physx soon on my PC too. It'll be interesting to see what happens in that regard. Talking more from a performance standpoint though than pretty gimicks, nVidia really suffered at this launch.

About time their practice bit them in the ass imo. I seriously doubt that there will be problems in the performance area. ATi managed just fine through all of nVidia's TWIMTBP garbage.

I see this turn of events as being a win win for everyone as long as EA and Huang don't get control of the wheel.

Just so you guys know, when coupled with the new patch which rolled out last week, NVIDIA's new drivers boost Tomb Raider performance by a good 40%.

Also, what was everyone's completion percentage? I hit 92%.

I'm going to order this game from the UK. So it will be some time before I get Laura's locks bristling against my ...erm...mad parkour skillz onto my monitor.

To maximize completion, get the Cartography skill as soon as possible.

Thanks for the tip. I just started last night. Great game, except for the universally hated QTE.

So I just finished this game and really it was quite good. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Yes the QTE's can get annoying at times, but all in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the game to anyone.

Oh and I finished with a completion of 98% Just missing part of a challenge in shanty town and then two challenges and a single gps cache on the beach. Could go back and get them done but not sure if I will.
