what I do is look at the big map and then look for the sector and fly sector by sector.
I am finally in my mid 40s and when the borg comes in the area that is around DS9 I have to say wow the players ships in this area are so powerfull they take less then 6 minute to totally obliterate the whole scene, now compare that to what I am used to which is sometimes not even finishing the scenario . I really wished I had that kind of juice .
I seem to remember that I actually was a higher level then I am now because I have done some of these missions before, the difference being now is that I( can get things like Dominion shields for my ship. I am likeing this game more then before but and this is a pretty big but I still am a noob compared to pretty much everyone else out there hehe.
I do really wished that I went tactical but I really don't want to start a new toon .

as for the messaging system I am not sure how to use it ,is it /m @

STF time then if you capped, Infected Space is the simplest to learn, start there. Once you learn the STF's then move to Elite STF's.
Fleet Actions (SB 24/ Gorn Minefield) are good ones to run, though TBH dont expect to place 1st or 2nd since everyone farms these missions for MKXI purple weapons and consoles.
You can hit the Romulan sector if you are doing/needing romulan Marks for gear, and dont forget to do your foundry missions for gear. Easy 600K+ ec per day if you run a foundry mission and hit the lootcap. I like the Battleship Foundry missions for this, fast and furious.
If you have not done the3 children toys DOFF mission yet ask in the DOFFJOBS channel where it is and get it started, if you have done it do it ever 3 days.

Hehe... I sent you an invite Super but was when I first setup the game.
I added you to friends list on purpose but I sent out the invite as a "What does this button do?" mistake.

I'm level 5 now! RAWR!

Liking the new andorian Escorts, running the Romulan set just for giggles with the Andorian Phasers, my Mobuis and Bug are still deadlier though. Teamed up wityh Shadow the other day for some quick Battleship battles, was good fun.

that was fun even though I was a little embarrassed with my crap gear it was fun to watch your ship rip through everything funny watching my phasers shooting twice and listening\seeing your weapons shooting at least ten times faster hehe.

The Romulan expansion is out... for those who play = how do you like it?
How does the game population look? Is it thriving or does it seem like it is limping along on life support?

I see they have lifetime subscription on sale and am pondering it... a lot depends on the answers (if any) I get to the above questions.

The new Rom story arc is amazing, 10 fold better than the FED/KDF story ( Cryptic said they are going to look into redoing the fed/kdf story to bring them up to par )
Population is growing, at LoR ( Legacy of Romulus ) there was a hella queue to get in. I see a few years left in STO for sure.
Lifetime is a tricky one, I have LTS and dont regreat it one bit but with LoR release they have a Legacy pack just for roms, might be the better way to go.
LTS is good if you are going to run lots of alts, since the free banking slots as well as the respec tokens are then well worth it, the LTS titles are meh same with the android bridge office. The 1000 day ship is okay but again there is better out there. The monthly stripend of 500zen is nice though , so if you plan to play lots of alts LTS is for you.
The legacy pack is just for Rommies and includes all the rommie ships as well as Remen playable species ( this can be unlocked in game via the rom reputation projects IIRC) it also comes with 30 master keys that you can use on lockboxs or sell on the exchange for 1.5-6 mil EC each.
If you just plan to play as a rommie this would be the better pack. They also have a rommie starter pack a T1 ship and T5 ship and Remen bridge officer for all rom alts. I went with this, I find any ship under T5 not worth it but other like the special consoles.
Take a gander at the different packs/LTS and see what would fit you game style wise.
With LoR we finally get a whole new UI that is selectable, very nice IMO way better interface than before.
